Elementary School Book Reading

I was happy to be invited to read a Titanic story to this group of 3rd graders, which included my granddaughter, Libertee. I chose to read: "Polar, The Titanic Bear" - written by first class passenger, Mrs. Daisy Spedden. She wrote this story for her son , Douglas, who was rather sickly at the time.

I dressed in one of my costumes to wear while I was reading, Large Molly Brown hat included! I really enjoyed my time with these 3rd graders.

I've always enjoyed reading to children so this was a good way to get abit of TITANIC into their day!!
