Melba Friends Church Ladies Tea Luncheon

This was my first ever church presentation. I was quite nervous! I had never done anything like this before so everything was new. Our chief steward (Debbie) was there handing out boarding passes to each "passenger". All these lovely ladies were expecting an interesting presentation on the Titanic. Could I pull it off?

As I got going in my talk the ladies made me feel more comfortable as they listened to the Titanic story. Everything we did here was kind of experimental-to see what worked and what didn't. The displays weren't nearly as nice as they are now but the group seemed to enjoy browsing thru what I had anyway. They especially liked looking up their "Titanic" person so I knew that was a great idea to implement into future Titanic presentations.

These ladies were patient with me and gave me my very first chance to share my passion for Titanic's story. Thanks to all those lovely Victorian ladies of MFC!
